Dr. Chianta Lindsey is a graduate of the illustrious Florida A&M University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, followed by both a Master's in Adult Health Nurse Practitioner and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Central Florida. Throughout her career, she has explored various specialties, but none have been as fulfilling as her work with vulnerable populations, especially the homeless.
For over a decade, Chianta dedicated herself to serving these communities within Federally Qualified Health Centers, assuming diverse clinical and leadership roles. Currently, she serves as the Director of Clinical Operations within a women’s healthcare organization. Chianta is a member of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc, North Tampa Mocha Moms, Inc., Speak to Me, Inc., Good News R.I.O.T., and the Brandon High School PTSA. She has served in various roles within these organizations. In addition to the community service organizations affiliations, Chianta volunteers with free clinics, takes part in foreign medical missions, and enjoys street outreach.
It brings her immense joy and purpose to serve on the Board of Directors for Sheltering the Unsheltered, Inc., offering her skills and compassion in any role needed to support the organization's mission. Chianta's life's mission is to embody Christ's love through her actions, advocating for those in need and striving to make a meaningful impact on their lives. Chianta’s personal motto is “I don’t want to make history. I just want to make a difference!”
